I hope this message finds you well. I am deeply honoured to address you as the newly appointed CEO and President of the Indigenous Chamber of Commerce. My name is Renee Greyeyes, a member of Peguis First Nation, proudly representing Treaty One.
My background is deeply rooted in social services, particularly in the realms of mental health, employment and resource development, and more recently financial empowerment. I bring a wealth of experience and dedication to our shared mission of advancing indigenous businesses and fostering economic equity within our community.
Throughout my career, I have witnessed firsthand the challenges and opportunities facing indigenous entrepreneurs and enterprises. It is with unwavering commitment and determination that I step into this role, with the singular goal of amplifying indigenous voices in the business landscape and championing initiatives that empower our community to thrive.
I am passionate about leveraging our collective strengths to drive positive change and create sustainable economic opportunities for generations to come. Together, we have the potential to effect meaningful transformation and leave a lasting legacy of prosperity for indigenous peoples across our region.
