Welcome, Gabriel!
Gabriel is a current undergraduate at the University of Winnipeg pursuing his degree in economics. He joined the Indigenous Chamber of Commerce as an Indigenous Economic Development Intern through the university’s Inner-City Work Study Program.
His interest in economic development led him to pursue work opportunities that afforded him the ability to combine what he has learned in the classroom with practical skills serving the community.
During his time with the ICC Gabriel will assist with the advancement of the Indigenous Business Directory, a project focused on promoting Indigenous businesses throughout Manitoba and Canada at large.
Outside of the classroom and work, Gabriel has an interest in reading history and playing sports.
